NovaPoint’s Jeff Wright selected as Northeast Cobb Business Person of the Year

NovaPoint Capital is proud to announce that Managing Director Jeff Wright was honored as the North East Cobb Business Association (NCBA) Business Person of the Year for his contributions to community. In additional to leadership and volunteer service to his church and multiple veteran service organizations, Jeff joined the NCBA in 2018 and the board of directors in 2019.

This underscores the values of the NovaPoint Capital team, which is dedicated to selfless service and community involvement.

NCBA’s objective is to promote business, serve our community and schools, and act as a conduit between the local business community and local, state and federal government.

About Jeff: Jeff Wright is a managing director and portfolio manager responsible for wealth management to NovaPoint Capital’s high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining NovaPoint, Jeff was a Vice President in the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch. He also worked at Booz Allen Hamilton and the Department of Defense. Prior to his private sector career, Jeff was a Field Artillery officer in the U.S. Army. He earned his BA from the University of Texas and MBA from the University of Maryland. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He serves on the Board of Elders of Piedmont Church in Marietta and on the Board of Directors of CureCP, a non-profit that directly helps children with cerebral palsy by funding innovative research, clinical trials, and studies at medical institutions in the U.S. Additionally, he is a member of the U.S. Army Ranger Association, Northeast Cobb Business Association, the Atlanta Society of Finance and Investment Professionals, and participates in other community organizations that support the special needs and veteran communities.
